A FINELY CARVED IVORY WRIST REST

Carved as a section of bamboo with four small bracket supports, the convex side carved in low relief with a goose in flight above stems of grass, the concave reverse carved and undercut in a naturalistic manner with four geese on a river bank below two geese descending amidst the tall grasses in which sits a praying mantis
