KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The globular body tapering towards the foot and curving inward to the mouth, the exterior covered with a bubble-suffused, mottled glaze of dark crushed strawberry-red color shading to a paler tone on one side and interspersed with some apple-green and greyish-green splashes that ends in a heavier line above the foot, the interior covered with a pale greyish-celdon glaze and the base with a very pale celadon glaze
3 7/8 in. (9.9 cm.) diam.
