Of compressed mallet shape, finely carved around the midsection with a dense lotus scroll, the slender neck encircled by a clambering chilong enameled in pink and green and clutching in its rear left foot the stem of a famille rose-enameled lingzhi

Acquired prior to World War II, and thence by descent within the family.
