Arabic manuscript on paper, 208ff. as numbered, each folio with 19ll. of black naskh, with gold roundel verse markers, sura headings in red on gold ground, text within blue and black-ruled gold frames, marginal markers in naskh, catchwords, with illuminated opening bifolio, colophon dated and followed by prayers, in original lacquer cover binding, with a letter indicating that this Qur'an was presented to Major C.H. Lincoln. O.B.E, H.B.M's Consul on 1st October 1937
