With tapering single-edged blade and faceted hilt with light purple gem inset at top, the sheath with ivory panels inlaid with brass, mother-of-pearl and possibly silver roundels, with two blue and yellow glass rosettes on one side, the silver-gilt mounts engraved with floral motifs and turquoise insets
