Mark of Isaac Lingenaar, Amsterdam, 1783, also struck with later Dutch duty mark, a dolphin
Rectangular with canted corners, the hinged cover chased with a whaling scene, showing several sailing ships, rowing boats and a pair of polar bears on the foreground, within a scroll cartouche, the reverse with a figural Biblical scene, the sides with portrait medallions and vases connected by garlands, marked to the interior base and rim
