Painted to the white-glazed ovoid body with the coat-of-arms of the Dutch family Nassau-LaLecq, the reeded straight neck encircled with two blue bands, applied with C-shaped handle, tip of handle restored

Lot Essay

The Dutch aristocratic family name Nassau-Lalecq is the name of the illegitimate children of 'stadhouder' Willem of Orange (1567-1625) and Margaretha van Mechelen (1580-1662). The last male bearer of the name died in 1824.
