A Chinese late Ming blue and white moulded vase, a cricket-box and cover and a silver-mounted double-gourd vase
16th-17th Century
Comprising a moulded vase, probably for the Middle-Eastern market, the ribbed body painted with buddhist motifs, neck reduced, body crack 15.5 cm. high; a rectangular cricket-box and cover moulded with two compartments, the cover painted with flowering peony, glaze frits, 12.5 cm. wide; and a silver-mounted 'kraak porselein' double-gourd vase painted with shaped panels of flowers and 'Antiquities', 19 cm. high (3)
