Each tile of near-square form, the white ground painted under the glaze in cobalt-blue, bole-red, green and black with a lattice of stepped blue palmettes containing carnations or sprays of tulips issuing rosettes, the palmettes interlacing with a green vine issuing paired tulips, repaired breaks, areas of restoration, framed
