OTTOMAN TURKEY, 18TH CENTURY
Rising from a short foot to a wide onion-shaped body with vertical sides and slightly flaring rim, the white ground painted in yellow, green, cobalt-blue and bole-red, the body with curved fluted moulded design of alternating fish-scale and floral spray, the rim with band of flowering vine, the underside of base with two concentric circles and diamond motif with cross-hatched infill
