Gouache heightened with gold on paper, a prince riding a blue speckled horse and wearing a brown tunic with gold turban and cummerbund approaches a palace, an attendant rides behind holding up a red and green canopy, four further figures on horseback behind, other figures on foot watch at the returning prince, a figure in a yellow tunic awaits under an arch, the palace walls surrounded by flowing moat, within the palace six women can be seen preparing for the arrival bringing forth golden ewers and trays to a seated bejeweled figure, small areas of repainting, within blue borders on gold ruled card
