Of shield shape flanked by gilt handles with female mask terminals enriched in black tracery, finely painted with views of either a domestic interior with soldiers departing for war or with peasants in a tavern interior awaiting news, on a conforming socle, the stand painted on all sides with arched reserves of tavern revellers
