CIRCA 1620 AND LATER, THE SECOND TILE ROTTERDAM
The first painted with a soldier, the second with a triton and mermaid, the blue and white example with a soldier on a frett-pattern ground, the powdered manganese example, Dutch or German, painted with buildings in landscape, the heart-shape inkwell, French or Spanish, the small globular redware jug trailed in cream slip with scrolls and leaf ornament
