The eared rectangular top with a pierced three-quarter gallery and gilt-tooled green leather writing surface above a part mahogany-lined drawer with reeded divisions, on turned tapering legs headed by reeded collars, with brass caps and castors, inscribed '2435', originally fitted with a slide in the drawer, handles replaced
