MID-17TH CENTURY
Of elongated form supported on a straight foot, well painted in tones of cobalt blue to the globular body depicting a continuous scene of scholars and attendants at leisurely pursuits, all within a grassy mountainous landscape, below an incised floral scroll band, the neck with a pair of phoenix in flight beside large peony blooms on leafy stems, the mouth and foot rims with further incised floral scroll bands
