With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1955 and its subsequent sale on 24 May 1956.

Fresh to the market, this watch is believed to be the first example of a reference 3214 to appear in public to date.

Reference 3214 was launched in 1955 and remained in production during a very short period of time only. The model was available in all three gold versions.
