A SET OF CHINESE EXPORT SILVER TEASPOONS AND TONGS
LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Comprising twelve spoons and a pair of sugar-tongs, each spoon with the bowl formed as a lotus leaf and the handle as the stem, the interiors gilded, the tongs of similar design, each spoon and the tongs with the mark CS, all within a silk lined fitted wood box, carved in high relief to the exterior with cartouches of figures at leisure on a ground of fruit and flowers, mark of Cumshing, Canton
The spoons, 4 in. (10.2 cm.) high, the box, 8 in. (20.4 cm.) wide
