An early Victorian gilt-lined mustard pot
of compressed moulded circular form, on scrolling foliate feet and with a rope-twist rim, leaf-capped scroll handle and flower finial, the body and domed cover each chased with rococo flowers and scrolling foliage, the front engraved with a crest, probably William Richards, London 1840 - 4½in. (11.50cm.) overall, 7.25oz.
