With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming that the present watch, decorated with original relief by Hans Erni, is number 2 of a limited edition of 100 examples, numbered 1 to 100, made to commemorate the 50th Swiss Federal Target Shooting contest in Lucerne in 1979.

Fresh to the market it is believed to be the only fifth example of this model to appear in public to date.
