Signed Yabu Meizan, Meiji Period (late 19th century)
Decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt with a band of lappets containing flowers on a dense background of butterflies, surrounding a scene of figures spinning yarn and weaving cloth for kimono, the outside of the bowl with birds amongst cherry branches
12.5cm. diam.
