A Derby inkstand and cover
twin-handled, the base of shaped rectangular outline and supported on four paw feet, with two blue-ground wells painted with two oval panels of flowers and flowewrs issuing from a basket on shaded grounds, the panels gilt issuing foliage, below an urn-shaped pot and sander flanking an oval bowl and pierced cover supported pierced scrolling foliate and mask feet, iron-red crossed batons mark -- 11¾in. (30cm.) wide, early 19th century (some minor damages and wear)
