FIRST EDITION. The lithographic plates are from original drawings in the British Museum. The plans were made for the Kensington Turnpike Trustees by their Surveyor, Joseph Salway in the Year 1811. They form a massive panorama from Hyde Park Corner down to Scotch Corner and all the way along Knightsbridge and Kensington High Street to Counter's Bridge.
