MEDICAL MANUSCRIPT. 'Arztney-Chura-und Recept-Büechl, worinen Lautter Abprobierte Medicamenten Vor Allerhandt Kranckheiten des Menschen zu fündten seyndt ... A.H. gehörig', 1768, copied in a single neat cursive gothic hand, calligraphic title and 373 pages, 4to (162 x 100mm), index (title torn and repaired with modern tape, occasional tears thereafter, minor worming), blind-stamped pigskin (possibly adapted from an earlier binding), owner's initials 'A.H.' to upper cover, clasps.
A continuation of the title indicates that the contents were based on the 'Alt-Dauttelhaußerischen Handt-Büechl'; the copyist's hand is presumably that of the 'A.H.' whose initials appear on the title-page and upper cover.
