"This painting was originally commissioned by the project Reefkeeper, a conservation group dedicated to the protection of marine reefs. Peering out into the tranquil blue waters at a passing school of pompano, the colourful reef fish are alerted. As a viewer, we must ask ourselves are we about to exit these lively waters through coral gate or is this just the beginning of a colourful and dazzling undersea garden."
