AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS
CIRCA LATE 6TH-EARLY 5TH CENTURY B.C.
Dark blue in color, the ovoid body with rounded shoulders, a cylindrical neck and inward-sloping rim, opaque yellow and turquoise marvered threads wound spirally around the body and tooled into a zigzag pattern, with yellow bands below, yellow on the rim, with twin blue vertical handles and a base knob
