AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS
SYRO-PALESTINIAN, CIRCA 2ND-MID 1ST CENTURY B.C.
Cobalt blue in color, the ovoid body tapering to the long cylindrical neck, with a disk rim and pad base, with opaque turquoise and yellow marvered threads wound spirally along the mouth, neck and body and tooled into feather patterns, with twin transparent pale green S-shaped handles
