A CORE-FORMED GLASS UNGUENTARIUM
EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN OR ITALY, CIRCA 3RD CENTURY B.C.
Cobalt blue in color, the ovoid body with rounded shoulders, a flaring long cylindrical neck, a disk rim, and high cylindrical foot splaying to the flat base, with opaque turquoise and yellow marvered threads wound spirally along the rim, neck and body and tooled into a zigzag pattern on the body, shallow vertical grooves from the tooling, with applied twin blue lugs on the body
