DATED '1825'
Arsenal conversion from flintlock, with sighted barrel, flat bevelled lock with rounded tail, walnut half-stock, brass mounts, iron lanyard ring, and later ramrod (iron parts corroded, markings worn); together with A BRITISH 16-BORE FLINTLOCK PISTOL OF LIGHT DRAGOON TYPE, early 19th century, with bright barrel and flat bevelled lock, walnut full stock, brass mounts, and later horn-tipped ramrod (iron parts pitted, mechanism defective, further defects to stock and mounts); and A BRITISH 16-BORE PERCUSSION VOLUNTEER PISTOL OF NEW LAND PATTERN TYPE, by W. Ketland, early 19th century, converted from flintlock, with tapering barrel, signed flat bevelled lock with 'GR' cypher, walnut three-quarter stock, brass mounts, and iron ramrod (some corrosion to iron parts, cock a recent replacement)
