With rebrowned twist slightly swamped octagonal sighted barrel signed 'WOGDON & BARTON LONDON' towards the breech, foliate engraved tang incorporating the standing rear-sight, flat bevelled detented bolted lock signed 'WOGDON & BARTON' and with stepped tail, figured walnut full stock with swelling flat-sided butt, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard with pineapple finial, and later bone-tipped ramrod (iron parts discoloured, minor brusing to stock), London proof mark and maker's mark 'RW' of Robert Wogdon
