"Delicious. The Haut-Brion is perfumed on the nose with the scent of violets and fresh red currant fruit with a bit of oak still showing. On the palate the wine is elegant and very fine, with superb balance and a texture that subtly coats the palate. The wine is very well-bred, holding its structure in reserve. Lacking a bit of the overt punch of the other first growths, this nonetheless is a top notch effort. At the Annual MW Claret Tasting, November, 2010"
