QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
Modelled as an archaistic vessel, well carved in high relief with three chi dragons clambering over the mouth rim, with a zoomorphic loop handle suspending a loose ring below the elongated spout, incised with a band of stylised scrolls on the mid-body, tapering to the back of a phoenix forming the base, its wings and feathery tail detailed with delicately incised markings, resting on webbed feet tucked under its body, the stone of a translucent pale celadon-white tone
