rectangular yellow jasper box, mounted in burnished and matted gold cagework, the hinged cover chased and pierced with asymmetrical rocaille and floral swags, the borders reeded and the corners enriched with pilasters, c-scrolls, and repoussé flowers bearing sablé accents, raised incorporated thumbpiece chased with undulating scrolls, later hinged emerald green leather case, the interior cover with retailer's stamp of Garrard & Co. Ltd
