Compare the bodice here with the illustration in Dior in Vogue, B Keenan, 1981, Condé Nast and Octopus Books, page 105, which shows the same 'off-the-shoulder' treatment that is characteristic of the wide shoulders of the Ligne Tulipe.

This dress is illustrated with the pink dandelion brooch that is part of lot 132.
