A Chinese brown-glazed bowl and a Jun bowl
Song dynasty (960-1279) Yuan dynasty (1279-1368)
The first of conical shape with slightly ribbed rim, covered in a thick brown glaze, the interior with a central splash of black, rim repair, 11.5 cm. diam.; and a green Jun bowl with slightly incurved rim, covered in a crackled sea-green glaze falling short of the foot, mark to base, rim repair, 20 cm. diam.
