A Meissen 'Punktzeit' assembled figural coffee- and tea-service
Mostly 18th Century, mostly with blue crossed swords marks enclosing a dot
Decorated with various harbour scenes, surrounded by scattered flowers, the handles in a light-green tone, the covers with floral and strawberry finials, comprising: a silver-mounted coffee-pot and cover, 26 cm. high; a teapot and cover, 11.5 cm. high; a silver-mounted milk-jug and cover, 15.5 cm. high; a sugar-bowl and cover, 11.5 cm. high; a silver-mounted tea-caddy with silver finial, 13 cm. high; a helmet-shaped vase, 20 cm. high; a slop-bowl, 17 cm. diam.; a set of six tea-cups; a set of four and a pair of coffee-cups; and twelve saucers, some damage and repair (31)
