Lot Essay

J Kroes, op cit, pp 107-109, discusses the blue and white service of Jacob Pelgrom, a Hugenot who fled to Amsterdam and went on to the Indies in 1688. Jacob's grand daughter married into the Sichterman family of the famous service displaying a squirrel (ibid, p 128).
