Lot Essay

Pulsanti aperietur may be translated to he that knocketh the door will be opened, and, as Hervouët & Bruneau point out (ibid), this bowl was likely presented to or ordered by a new Masonic initiate, who is shown at the entrance of the Temple. Apparently unique.
