Lot Essay

Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988) was one of the masters of ironwork during the early twentieth century, working with the best decorators of the time including Arbus, Adnet, Pascaud and Royere.
These wrought iron tables of sinous outline recall the work of the French master.
