A late Victorian afternoon teapot
of moulded oval form, with rising curved spout, ebonised wood bracket handle and domed hinged cover with shaped oval wood finial, die-stamped with rococo shells, flowers and foliage incorporating vacant C-scroll cartouches and with presentation inscription dated 1900, each side with a vacant cartouche, Birmingham 1896 - 4½in. (11.50cm.), 11oz. gross.
