CASE: with architectural top to hood with chamfered angles, glazed panel to trunk door, on stepped plinth, DIAL: silvered and engraved with subsidiary seconds and date dials, signed 'Brysons, Edinburgh', MOVEMENT: rectangular plates with four pillars, deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, strike on bell, steel rod pendulum with glass jar (mercury removed), two lead weights with integral pulleys
