CASE: brass lined, inverted bell top with urn finials, brass handles above fish-scale sound frets, with pierced brass fret to the front door, on bracket feet, DIAL: convex glass, white enamel signed 'Wagstaffe/LONDON' with pierced steel hands, MOVEMENT: with five pillars, twin chain fusees with reconverted verge escapement (spring suspended pendulum) and strike on bell, the backplate engraved with flowerheads and foliage
