This possessed one of the freshest noses of any of these '86s with the last remaining vestiges of primary fruit though the aromas are given over mostly to tar, spice, earth and an intense gaminess that is entirely in keeping with the still structured, robust and muscular medium full flavors that are no model of finesse but deliver beautiful finishing depth and length.
