A Meissen (Marcolini) duck-egg-blue ground vase and cover
oviform, the flattened pierced cover and shoulders moulded with a draped leopard's pelt on a band moulded with scrolling foliage enriched in gilt, the lower section gadrooned above a band of beads, the footrim moulded with a ropetwist band, painted in colours and gilt, blue crossed swords and star mark -- 8¾in. (22.3cm.) high, circa 1790 (cover broken and repaired, minor damages)
