THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
Each of cylindrical form, moulded to the shoulder with gilt fo-dog terminals, below gilt-metal upright dragon-moulded handles, with acanthus and fruiting vine rim, painted in a bold palette with phoenix in flight, stylised dragons and pink peony within turquoise-ground scroll cartouches, reserved on an red cell-pattern ground painted with trailing flowering branches, on canted gilt metal bases, minor restoration to rim, slight wear to enamels and gilding
