This fauteuil de bureau relates closely to one executed by François Honoré-Georges and Georges Jacob (dit Jacob-Desmalter), sold Couturier-Nicolay, 31 March 1994, lot 96, and to a further example attributed to Jacob-Desmalter, sold Christie's, London, 2 May 1997, lot 150.
