The Thakur on horseback dressed in white with a high conical turban, holding a hookah to his lips and wearing a gold decorated sword, with an attendant with red striped pyjama and a tall conical green turban walking alongside holding the hookah base, the horse with long orange, green and white tassels attached to mane and matching saddle cloth, set on green background with high blue horizon, an inscription on verso

The inscription on verso indicates this is no. 120 in a series. A very similar example dated to 1750 is shown in Marwar Painting: A History of the Jodhpur Style by Rosemary Crill, p. 87, figure 61.
