MARK OF V.S (CYRILLIC), 1908/17
With engraved crosses and geometric scrollwork, the 3 panels painted with Virgin & Child flanked by archangels; also two Russian silver and niello snuff boxes (one parcel-gilt), both with architectural views, one with seated figure and dog outside city walls on cover, one moscow, 1836, the other markof F.L (Cyrillic), probably Moscow but no town mark, circa 1825
