A RARE SIGNED AND DATED YIXING SQUARE SEAL
SIGNED YOU QINQING, DATED TO AUTUMN OF THE BINGXU YEAR OF DAOGUANG, CORRESPONDING TO 1826 AND OF THE PERIOD
The tortoise-form knob with knobby carapace and pierced horizontally for stringing, the block inscribed on one side with the maker's name, You Qinqing, and the date Daoguang bingxu qiuri (1826), the base with a nine-character seal reading ting song ge Hainan Zhou shi zhi yin (the seal of Zhou of the 'Listen to the Pine Hall' in Hainan), the stoneware of reddish-brown color
