The silvered dial, signed and numbered Parkinson & Frodsham, Royal Exchange, LONDON, 4155, with Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, blued steel and silvered hands, the movement enclosed in brass drum-shaped dust cover, numbered KOL No 60, Earnshaw escapement, cut bi-metallic balance, blued steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl, in three-tier brass-mounted mahogany box with handles to the sides
