A 2in. gauge display model of the New South Wales Government Railways Garrett Class AD 60 4-8-4 + 4-8-4 locomotive No 6002
finely detailed by Bassett-Lowke and mounted in original glazed display case with brass plate engraved Presented to Mr Anthony Dobson on behalf of Beyer Peacock & Co Limited February 1979 -- 11½ x 50½in. (29.2 x 128.2cm.), (some very minor corrosion)
Note: The AD 60 Class Garretts were the largest, heaviest (264.75 tons) and most powerful steam locomotives in Australia. Introduced in 1952 the last was withdrawn in 1973.
